Polaroid files for Chapter 11

Polaroid Corp. announced it was filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

The Minnesota-based company said it is taking itself and its subsidiaries into bankruptcy in order to restructure its finances. (CNN)

It’s sad to see the Polaroid name being dragged through bankruptsy again. I worked there for 24 years and in that time I watched the compnay go from a technology giant to a shell of it’s former self, all the while being run by, for the most part, a bunch of incompetent buffoons. Looks like some things never change.
